Palo Alto Networks GlobalProtec is a web-based protection software package for Palo Alto Networks in the United States. The software provides firewall monitoring and threat prevention. Palo Alto Networks GlobalProtec had a security loophole, which stemmed from the misallocation of privileges on Linux equipment, which could lead to the disablement of local non-administer users.
