Description (English)
Both AMD Ryzen and AMD Athlon are products of U.S. Supermassive Semiconductor (AMD). AMD Ryzen is a central processor (CPU). AMD Athlon is a series of microprocessors. AMD Ryzen and AMD Athlon have a security loophole, which stems from the system ’ s misperception of call parameters, which may result in a malicious drive to map or cancel a large number of pages, thereby causing kernel memory damage. The following products were affected: AMD RyzenTM ThreadripperTM PRO 3000 WX-Series Products, AMD RyzenTM 5,000 Series Desktop Products with RadeonTM Graphics, AMD RyzenTM ThareadripperTM PRO 5,000 WX-Series Products, AMD AthlonTM 3000 Series Mobile Products with RadeonTM Graphics, AMD RyzenTM 5,000 Series Mobile Products with RadeonTM.
