Description (English)
METIS WIC is the interface configuration software for an infrared thermometer of the Greek company METIS. METIS WIC 2.1.234-r18 and previous versions had a security loophole, which originated from/console endpoints that exposed Web-based shells without identification, which could result in remote assailants executing arbitrary operating system orders with root privileges.
