CVE-2024-7985 Information

Description

The FileOrganizer – Manage WordPress and Website Files plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation in the ileorganizer_ajax_handler\ function in all versions up to and including 1.0.9. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above and permissions granted by an administrator to upload arbitrary files on the affected site’s server which may make remote code execution possible. NOTE: The FileOrganizer Pro plugin must be installed and active to allow Subscriber+ users to upload files.
